Self-custody check

We never ask for your recovery words (seed words), private keys or wallet addresses. This check is yes or no only, runs on your phone and saves nothing. Anyone asking for your seed words is a scammer.

1. Is most of your Bitcoin in a wallet where you hold the keys (not on an exchange)?

2. Did you buy your hardware wallet direct from the maker?

3. Are your recovery words written down offline (paper or metal), never typed into a phone, cloud or photo?

4. Have you tested restoring your wallet from the recovery words?

5. Is your backup kept in a different place from the wallet itself?

6. Does someone you trust know how to find your Bitcoin if something happens to you?

7. Do you check the receive address on the wallet screen before sending to it?

8. Would you ignore anyone who asks for your recovery words, even 'support'?
