Affiliate disclosure

SHATOSHI is free to read. To help keep it that way, some pages include affiliate links. Here is what that means, in plain English.

Affiliate links

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a commission. It costs you nothing extra. You pay the same price as anyone else.

How we label them

Every affiliate link is marked with an Ad label next to it. Pages that may contain affiliate links also say so near the top and link back here.

Our reviews stay independent

Nobody pays for a place in our guides or a better review. We decide what to cover and what to say. If a product has a weak spot, we say so. A commission never changes what we recommend.

Not financial or tax advice

Everything on SHATOSHI is general education. It is not financial, investment or tax advice. Bitcoin can swing hard in price. Do your own research and, if you need advice for your own situation, speak to a regulated adviser.
